a lot of people ask me if i have a blog. i'm like "no" and they'll say something like "but you're really the blogging type." i have no idea what the hell that means other than i talk to much. anyway i never really got into it before now, except for when i was in costa rica and everyone kept bitching about my mass emails. so i started a blog and then they all bitched and said they preferred mass emails. bastards.
my sister asked me this weekend, "is food your favorite thing?" and i thought for a minute and i was like "yes." food is literally my favorite thing. and just in case the people in my life are not already sick of hearing me talk about it, now i'm going to write about it on the internet so they can read about it while they are bored at work.
the inspiration of my blog is the insanely awesome tacos i just ate from los portales which i read about on another excellent food blog, lost in the supermarket.

Good call. I am bored at work a lot and love to tell food to Get in Mah Belly. :) Plus, it's another excuse to go out to eat with you to exotic locales.
By "blogging type," they mean nerd. That's what they say about me.
I love backreading blogs and people's impetuses (impeti?) for blogging. Especially on snow days.
