yes readers, it is time again for my biannual financial crisis. but this time it is serious. without getting into details, since who knows who the hell is reading this, i will just say that my credit card debt is totally out of hand. i am nearing the point of being completely in over my head with debt and i absolutely must cut back! therefore, i am going to have to stop going out to eat all the time, and when i do go, it is going to have to be cheap places. i am also going to cook more and write more about cooking again.
i'm going to be in michigan and new york for the next two weeks, so i probably won't blog much, but i am going to be starting as soon as possible to cut back on my spending. let's hope this is a new year's resolution that i actually keep.
reader poll: what yummy, super cheap places do you know of that i have not yet written about?

I wanna know more about all the small places around UC.
ugh... I am so with you on this. I swear half of my credit card debt can be attributed to food. And even when I stay home and cook I spend a fortune!
I'm a big fan of hitting up happy hours and making a dinner of appetizers (although then I make up for the cost savings in beer... damn!). I've also been trying to cook cheaper stuff... tacos, spaghetti, stir-fry.
Taquiera Maya in Mason. The large quesadilla really is. And where else can you get it filled with beef tongue, tripe, or chorizo?
you guys these are great ideas, thanks!
SFC: i feel the same way re: cooking... i always end up spending a ton of money on ingredients and it never really costs me that much less, especially since i tend to eat at pretty cheap places most of the time anyway.
