Srsly? Have you not heard of Mainstrasse? It has like 20 pubs, restaurants, and bars within a few blocks. One of the best night-life areas in Cincinnati. Anchor Grill is a few blocks south of it. nobody i know hangs out in covington to drink.

In all reality, you should ALL stop dogging on Balboa's. It is NOT bad in the least bit and I'm so over people not taking the time to realize when everything isn't perfect there's usually a good reason. It hasn't even been open a full year and can't be expected to be perfect. It's really grown in the past few months and CAN be expected to be great.

I read your review and have to say that you are very off with all your comments. Not sure if you have had Korean food from other places. I happen to be Korean and have actually had most of the over priced god awful Korean food in this city and I actually frequent Izen. Not because it has the best Korean food but that it has the best for the money in Cincinnati. Cincinnati in general is extremely over priced for Asian food and in particular Korean food. I dont know why. Maybe because white people in this city don't know better. But its pretty obvious that you had a mindset to not enjoy the food at Izen.

Again the food is actually pretty decent as well as the price. which is why I keep going. Certainly everything there is pre made and that takes away from the quality of the food but it still tastes pretty good overall. You can actually tell by the number of Korean people that actually frequent the establishment which is more than I can say for places like Riverside Korean restaurant or that Sung's Bistro place. Two of the worst Korean restaurants known to man. But you wouldnt know that judging by how many white people are in there at any one time.

I have to say, I can't believe I spent the time to read this crap. I am one of the restaurants that participate each year in this event. Our restaurants pay for 100% of the food that is served that evening, and most of us our independently owned and operated. Are you as naive as to say that we want to throw our money away. Have you ever prepared for an event like this? 1000 guest are invited, 28 restaurants are involved, placement of the booth are all factors to how much we prepare. Now, predict on who's going to stop by your booth once, who's going to stop by twice and who's not going to stop by at all. My restaurant takes pride in supporting the community and the enviroment and I think your thoughts and comments are completely rude and green.
