brunch at home

laura and i had planned on brunch this morning, but it's been raining for like 24 hours and we were far too lazy to go all the way to grand cafe in this weather:


actually, i was far too lazy. laura hung out w/ me and ate and then went off to school. anyway, we ordered from lite bites:


they compete, they listen, they achieve! they really do achieve since the poor delivery guy rode over in the tsunami on his bike.

laura got fried eggs, potatoes, and toast:


she also mistakenly got bacon, which for a vegetarian is not an exciting thing, so i got a huge pile of bacon. the fruit salad was a nice mix too:


i had the challah french toast, which was a little sweet and kind of rubbery but still pretty good:


since it was all delivery and it's like 40 below outside, none of it was hot. but we were inside and warm and dry in front of the food channel (what else) so we were happy. laura had some yummy coffee that we made. 2 hours later, i'm still sitting on my ass in my pajamas enjoying tv and do nothing weather.
