here is a list of my favorite things to grill in no particular order:
- kabobs (especially chicken or shrimp)
- nathan's hot dogs (split the long way) with grilled potato buns
- nathan's hot dogs chicago style (mustard, relish, onions, hot peppers, pickle, celery salt)
- steak (but i have not been able to afford that lately)
- jerk chicken wings
- tuna or salmon steaks
- your mom
i recently got a table and chairs and put them out on my back patio. and by "back patio" i mean the pavement in front of the crappy, falling over garage with piles of rusted bikes in my back yard. i will take what i can get though and my new dining al fresco option makes me very happy.

Oh my god I LOVE grilling. This week it has been burgers, steak, and cheap flank steak. The nice steak I just seasoned with olive oil and garlic salt. But I can't afford that either. So I have been buying that cheaper "steak for marinating" at Kroger. They've also had bottled marinades on sale for 10/$10 and I had a good caribbean jerk one the other night.
I like my grill pan where I can grill asparagus, squash, onions, peaches, etc without worrying about them falling through the grates.
Hormal's peppercorn pork tenderloins are fabulous on the grill.
ooooh, steak for marinating, good call! i also cannot afford steak but have been craving it.
YUM re: grilled peaches! liberal foodie made me grilled pears the other day and that was delicious.
Where is liberal foodie? Does she have a new blog?
Onions. Grilling takes off the edge and makes them sweeter. Grilled shrooms also good but wait 5 minutes before biting into them or you'll be sorry.
I like my chicken like I like my women, with a punch. So I always marinate. I've thought about flank steak for steak sandwiches for a party but I only have 3 friends and one is a vegetarian and another is a cat.
I would do peaches if I had ice cream to put on top.
I've had pretty good success grilling pizza, actually! Just don't put too many toppings on it, and add them AFTER you grill the first side.
